A large version of the larch forest i posted here: Forest iPad Wallpaper. The image is captured in The Lake District in the fall just before the leaves were gone. The photograph was captured while moving the camera horizontal while taking the image to make a more blurry and abstract photo of the larch forest.
Black & White image of old tree from The Lake District. Yes another tree and another image from the lake district. On a walk around the Buttermere lake on the rather dull and windy day the sun just broke through the dark skies and illuminated the old tree near the lake. I was busy looking a birds on the lake and just turned around… and tried to focus on the new subject. I personally like how the tree stands out with big contrasts against the dark background, the stone wall and the fence to the left.

… and how to find out. I’m a photographer and I publish my images on the internet for everyone to enjoy and share. This week I have played around with Google’s Image Search and found some interesting uses of my images I was not aware about.
I you are not familiar with with the photography business you can read this statement: Reasons Why Professional Photographers Cannot Work for Free. The statement discuss why our images are not available for free and why photographers mostly needs to get payed for the work they put into making great imagery. It is mostly related with people asking for a free image but often people don’t ask they just copy (steal) your images directly from your webpages. This is often fine if you follow the Creative Commons codex – which allow people to copy your work for non-commercial purposes if they remember to link back to the original content.
The Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II is the perfect super wide angel zoom. The wide angle zoom lens is what I consider one of the most important wide lenses in Canon’s line up – I love it when I running a long a coast with rock, island and small sandy beaches.
Test the Rest – East side Gallery in Berlin. It’s interesting to see the evolution of artwork but also sad to see how a great piece of art can be demolished by tags and graffiti. The East side Gallery is a good example of how artwork over time get pested by tags and therefore needs to be re-created. Birgit Kinder have redone the artwork several times – an elaborate process: See the recreation of Test the Rest.
