Hi I’m Martin Bay!
I’m a Danish photographer and biologist. I’ve been taking photos for years and travelled around with my camera. Right now I live in Scotland and capture images full time, spending as much time with the camera as possible. It’s great and I love the time I use with the camera, it matures my creative skills and photography is bringing me back nature and my roots.
I work on different projects using my images. Currently I work with my partner to decorate offices for a large logistic firm in Denmark. I’m also working on a website – Foto Factory. The site will be the main place for selling my images and a big playground for creating unique artwork for you and me.
Finally I work on a design project creating ergonomic solutions for the workspace – Nordic Appeal. Today many people work in different places not exactly meant to be an eight hour workplace so having the right set-up will prevent neck pain and other injuries. Working on an ergonomically and environmental sustainable solution really make this project worthwhile and fun.
I’m also the guy behind this iPad Wallpaper site! I hope the wallpaper site will be the best sources for high quality iPad wallpapers on the Internet. The wallpapers are created from my original images and cropped to 1024 x 1024 resolution, meaning that they work in both vertical and horizontal orientation on the Apple iPad.
Most of my images are captured with the full frame Canon 5D Mark II and various lenses from the Canon system. The post-production of the RAW images is done on an Mac Pro using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop CS5.
