Black and white version of the beach huts at Blokhus beach. Usually you will see images of the huts and the beach in sun and a blue skye but I prefer to more dramatic nature of this place.
I like the dramatic feel in this image and have converted the photo to black and white in Adobe Lightroom. Adobe Lightroom is my favourite for for organising and editing my images – for more manipulative work I use Adobe Photoshop but like when I can get the work done in Lightroom.
This photo of the small Danish beach houses at the west coast of Denmark is one of my favourite images from this part of Denmark. I just sold a great copy for a large print through Foto Factory! You can get one too.
The shot is from one of the rare storms happening at spring flood which mean the water get really high and wash all the way up to the sand dunes. I hard for the houses and many of them were completely flooded and moved around. I particular like how the sun strike and the foam from the sea blow in the air just behind the first hut.
Black & White photo of the North Sea on a nice and windy day. The wind is strong and the clouds are flying fast over the head of people, the waves are big and the current is strong. What a nice day to be at the sea!
I captured this image on one of the last day of the year with a storm coming in from west. The frost have left Denmark and generally the weather is a bit boring so I headed straight to the edge of the beach to capture the sea. I converted the images to black & white in Adobe Lightroom. I like how the tones blend you can sense the speed of the clouds and the current in the water.
Early morning photo of the reflections at the Danish west coast near Blokhus. I like how the golden light in the sky paint the clouds in the sand giving the image an extra dimension.
This photograph could have been captured many places along the danish west coast and I like how it captures some of the most beautiful light you can have in this place. I much prefer this compared to a vivid sunset and think it represent the landscape much better even though it is a rare sight.
Photograph from another cold day at the Sea. I like the ever changing structures of the sea – the sand next to a small stream make this miniature landscape of sand.
I have edited the image a bit to focus in to the details and textures of the sand in the foreground making it a miniature landscape on the beach near Blokhus, Denmark.
